mcserver deprecation and removal

Hi!

We've been talking about dropping mcserver as it

(1) no longer builds
(2) no one is willing to support it
(3) possibly contains unfixed security holes
(4) makes no sense in view of the availability of FISH

In my personal opinion this is a very good idea, but we decided to probe
user reaction first by alerting both of mc's mailing lists.

Do you use mcserver personally?
Why in the world are you doing this?
What do you think about removal of mcserver?
