Sat 19 Apr 2008 08:52:48 AM UTC, original submission:
I eyed through the list of bugs but found nothing similar.
My system is Debian stable (Etch). Now I need to move to a newer computer
and thusly had in mind using mc transfer the files. I have done the same
before and had similar experiences, but this time it was extreme.
The aim was to set up a shell link on the right pane. Generally, the
artefacts only cover the 4 first buttons on the bottom bar (from Help to
Edit). But this time the whole UI moved away.
With F9 I got the top bar to show "Right" and with the arrow keys, I
pretty much recreated the whole top bar. The contents behind it was of
course gone by then.
I hope this may help in further improving an already great app.
