Hello,

I hope I do it right here...

I am using mc "GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.2-pre1" in debian sid.
This version crashes with a lot of console dump while doing a copy of e.g.
/home/<username> to /tmp
It is proofen by using a live-linux CD from sidux.org (debian sid) and
"apt-get update && apt-get install mc" to upgrade to 4.6.2-pre1.
This will also install "libgpmg1" to the newest version. After that running
mc (as root or user) and try to copy some while directory, this will happen:

SORRY if this is not 100% correct, it was hard to make it readable after it
appears in xterm console.
Hope to be any helpful to make mc a bit mor prefect :)
