Details:

backspace does nothing if you press it and nothing is in the commandline
buffer.

expecting:
backspace clears the commandlinebuffer, if it is empty a cd.. is invoked


afaik tcmd does that by default - new user complained about mc behaviour.

this is a patched bug, you may review the patch or decide for testing. 

it introduces a new way in panel_key in screen.c that handles the backspace
key to ctrl_prev_panel() if the current commandline is empty.
to access the commandline i had to include widget.h and command.h in screen.c
- that may be a problem otherwhere.
