mc bug

Dear Sir,
I have installed Suse in my machine,when I try to use  Midnight Commander 
4.6.0 using the command 'mc' is not working.But if I use mc -x it is working. 
The output of `mc -V'is :-
master:/rhome> mc -V
GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish
With builtin Editor
Using system-installed S-Lang library with terminfo database
With subshell support as default
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm and Linux console
With support for X11 events
With internationalization support
With multiple codepages support

Please advise and send me the good way to reinstall th mc again.
