Fixed in 4.6.1-pre1:
Mon Mar 24 18:52:02 2003 UTC (10 months, 3 weeks ago) by andrew
* view.c (get_line_at): Set prev properly for reverse search.
Don't remove final character in the last line without newline.
(search): During regexp search: handle properly '^'
in forward search and '$' in reverse search.
Based on the patch from Adam Byrtek <alpha debian org>.
Use http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/mc/mc/src/view.c.diff?r1=1.118&r2=1.119&diff_format=u
if you want to fix only this bug.
