------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
Fixed in CVS. Only modifiers from the key sequences should be applied to ordinary characters (i.e. Escape O becomes Alt-O). Modifiers from the OS should be ignored, because nobody should care what modifiers were actually used as long as the result is a printable character.
It's a very serious bug. It may justify another prerelease, but I'll wait to see if any other serious bugs are reported.

Summary: AltGr+key not working in Linux Console (Spanish keyb)

Original Submission: In the Spanish keyboard I have an AltGr key which is used to form some esential characters:

AltGr+º=\
     +1=|
     +2=@
     +3=#
...

It worked in:
GNU Midnight Commander 2002-12-19-23

It doesn't now:
GNU Midnight Commander 2002-12-26-16

It's for Linux console. I tried in X terminals and some of them work.
