We talked about something similar to this in the marketing hackfest. It'd display thanks in the about dialogs of the different pieces of GNOME.

I believe that the company or person could also choose which software in Gnome or appreciation. Type: eog or gedit.

In "About" .. could have "Friends" and "Developers", "Translators"
