Isn't "boys" a bit condescending? Or is this just my different cultural
background interpreting it that way? Anyway, I'll "assume people mean
well...", so here it is: If I remember correctly I probably joined this
list sometimes when the new website discussion came up, because I was
interested in following things.
And since then I have been reading, as I am generally interested in
the processes of GNOME, just like I am subscribed (and not, or rarely,
participating) to build-brigade, desktop-devel, distributor, epiphany,
foundation, gnome-bugsquad, gnomecc, gnome-devel, gnome-devtools,
gnome-doc, gnome-doc-devel, etc.
If you want a more general bio, there is this paragraph in my page on
live.gnome.org:
In GNOME I work on project-wide stuff, the Build Brigade to make sure
everything keeps building correctly, the library.gnome.org website to
give access to all our documentation, the Release Team to, well, release
things, and the Commit Digests to give some publicity to the daily
changes happening in the different modules. I am (of course) an happy
foundation member, somehow maintainer of JHBuild, and random submitter
of bugs and patches.
I should also add I am currently enjoying holidays, and if it was not
for some rainy days I wouldn't have time to follow the recent threads.
Cheers,
Frederic
