Press coverage of the 2.14 release

Hi!

I thought we all might be interested to get some feedback how the
release is covered by the press. Let me start with reporting about the
German speaking countries:

First, all "usual suspects" are there, again:

 http://www.golem.de/0603/44060.html
 http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/70864
 http://derstandard.at/?url=/?id=2356190

As usual, "Der Standard" is amazingly detailed with about 30 screen
shots.

Let's move on to the not-so-usual coverage. First, there are eight (!)
paragraphs in a consumer PC magazine:

A general interest web zine picked the story, too, which is absolutely
amazing.

Here's another consumer PC magazine although it's just a paragraph:

Another special event is that the German GNOME team managed to show
GNOME 2.14 on the Cebit _and_ made a press release about it! This was
picked by zdnet.de, computerwoche.de, Tom's Hardware Guide, and several
other sites as well:

 http://www.zdnet.de/news/software/0,39023144,39141623,00.htm
 http://www.computerwelt.at/detailArticlePr.asp?a=101903&n=3
 http://business.tomshardware.de/news/20060308_095609.html

For the curious, the press release of the German team is here:

 http://www.gnome-ev.de/index.php/Pressemitteilungen

This is absolutely awesome! It shows that local teams have good chances
to make GNOME mentioned in the (online) press: Just pick a local event,
present a preview, write a press release, and sent it to the right
people.

What about the press coverage in other countries?

Cheers,
Claus
