Right now our search service, Nominatim, does not return the ele tag.

But the question about what information to display about a place is still up in the
air. We are in the process of designing and implementing the map markers for
places on the map. We do not want to overload our users with information, so

I don't know if elevation is something we want to provide, but it might be!
