Hold on. Be careful. Isn't xmlKeepBlanksDefault() all about breaking the XML
specification for libxml backwards compatibility:
http://xmlsoft.org/html/libxml-parser.html#xmlKeepBlanksDefault
I thought we had already chosen the correct use of it.
