Re: libsoup build fails under MSYS2 on Windows 7

I eventually got libsoup to build by deleting the "Basic sanity check" line that generates the error from 
libsoup/libsoup/Makefile.
make then ran to completion so I did make install.
It remains to be seen if this causes any problems when using the libsoup.
I'm wondering if MSVC files are relevant to MSYS2 builds as they appear related to MS Visual Studio projects?
