Yeah, had a chat with my Python guy here, - Object.keys() is probably 
the more Javascriptey way of implementing it..

Object.keys =  function(o, fn, scope){
         var ret = [];
         for(var p in o){
            if (typeof(p) != 'number') ret.push(k);;
         }
	  return ret;
};
