Why is ChamplainPoint public? The documentation only shows it been used when a coordinate is added. Furthermore the data type ChamplainPoint is not documented so it seems useless from a user point of view.

This branch will be merged before Friday's freeze.  If there are any

I will try to see if I can find some free time for merging the branch before the weekend.
