A problem with this is if you're browsing to the directory object 
through some collection of objects - then if going backwards takes you 
to the parent directory, you can't get back to that collection, as you'd 
expect to be able to.

For example, you could have a directory in your collection of favourite 
objects (Favourites plugin).
