Strict matching when typing?

I wish Kupfer could be more restrictive with pattern matching. What I mean, when I type "fire" for example, it finds entries like "Fast Internet Relay Entry". I want Kupfer to find only Firefox or Spitfire, so only consecutive characters in the search string matches are used. Is that possible now? I know about the free text mode, but that doesnt give me matches when I'm typing.
