At first thought, I can't think of a reason to tie it to events
instead of timeline.

While if it bound to timeline, "if" at some point we introduce
stretching, we could have the markers follow.

Then again, I'm not sure what's the concept of tying them to events,
care to explain a bit Lazlo?

I have been thinking about doing something like this. One interesting
idea that someone told to me was to have to labels tied to events
instead of the timeline, so when you moved an event, the labels moved too.

Which would be better, in your opinion?
