Jerome - i moved the code to hamster's repository, and added
rudimentary dbus support.
Also made a quick news update:

In case if you don't have commit rights in gnome's git, feel free to
request one and point me as the one who recommends you (the
live.gnome.org is bit laggy right now, but just search for gnome
accounts and you will find the instructions).
