Applet won't load to the panel

Hello everyone,
	I have being working since yesterday on bug 529098 [1] and I have come
up with a libnotify solution which seems to work. I can't get my applet
loaded though :( If I run hamster on a window everything works as
promised. I tried to fire up hamster without the -w flag and then reload
the applet and that worked, but I don't have a clue why the applet
doesn't load on it's own. Maybe somebody has an idea?

Then things get up and running how can I submit my code for review?
