1) I installed RPMs, both gnumeric and Guppi
Building Guppi from Source RPM failed with some missing .h files
although the ./configure part seemed to run fine
2) yes, that's there
3) I get
number of results: 0
ok. just tried the rpm --rebuild Guppi-0.40.0-1.src.rpm again:
it stops at
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I/usr/include -I..
-I../src/libguppiuseful -I../src/libguppidata
-I../src/libguppispecfns -I../src/libguppiplot
-I../src/libguppiuseful -I../src/libguppidata
-I../src/libguppispecfns -I../src/libguppiplot
-I/usr/include/gnome-1.0 -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H
-I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include
-I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-1.0 -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/gnome-xml
-I/usr/include/orbit-1.0
-I/usr/include/python1.5 -DGNOMELOCALEDIR=\""/usr/share/locale"\" -DG_LOG_DOMAIN=\"guppi:gnumeric\" -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2 -I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -O2 -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -Wall -Wunused -c guppi-gnumeric-format-guru.c
guppi-gnumeric-format-guru.c:36:25: glade/glade.h: No such file or
directory
But I do have the missing file on my system:
/usr/include/libglade-1.0/glade/glade.h
What now?
should I continue to build Guppi from source or is there another way to
get the 2 working together?
thanks
Jens
