New Guppi CVS Snapshot 06/29/2000

I've made a new snapshot of Guppi from CVS:

It offers:

* Fixes a nasty memory corruption bug that caused scatter plots to
  segfault.

* Added --disable-python flag to configure.

* The auto-resizing of properties dialog is improved.

* Michael Meeks' print preview patch.  (Which doesn't work too well
  with scatter plots, but it isn't our fault: it looks like
  gnome-print's rgb print context doesn't implement clipping
  properly...)

* Other small optimizations, bug fixes & code clean-ups.

* Lots of work on the bar chart plug-in --- but there is no way to
  access that functionality via the app yet, so nobody should really
  care too much.  But I can now render all of the different styles of
  2-d bar charts that Excel does, which is sort of nice.

As always, reports of success or failure building/running Guppi are
incredibly helpful.
