Problems with readline

Hi there,

I have still problems running guppi 0.34.1

when I start I get the following messages:
libguppiuseful-Message: Booting Guile
libguppiuseful-Message: Initializing libglade
libguppiuseful-Message: Initializing CORBA
libguppiuseful-Message: Initializing Utility Library
libguppiuseful-Message: Initializing Guile
ERROR: In procedure dynamic-link:
ERROR: /home/boemmels/gnome/lib/libguilereadline.so: undefined symbol: 
rl_deprep_term_function

guppi, guile and gnome are all installed from source with 
./configure --prefix=/home/boemmels/gnome
LD_LIBRARY_PATH, LD_RUN_PATH, PATH and GUILE_LOAD_PATH are set
appropriate

Any ideas?
