guppi segfault

I've been having trouble getting guppi to run after compiling on one of
my machines. Both are standard RH 6.0 installs with gnome updates
from ftp.inconnect.com.

Machine #1 compiles and installs fine. Machine #2 compiles OK but
segfaults when trying to execute. No windows appear and the segfault
happens pretty quick.

An examination of the core file with gdb reads:

This GDB was configured as "i386-redhat-linux"...

I have saved the file for further examination if anyone needs to see
it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
