Hi, I have wondered a bit whether we could offer something that helps new or inexperienced community members to make friends at the conference. I heard that in A Coruna there were some games where you had simple tasks in the style of "Find a release team member and ask them …". Another example would be here at university where the first year students are generally split into groups of around 20 people and spend almost a week together doing different activities to help them bond. I think it would be perfectly possible to organize something simple even on a short notice. So if someone has an idea how we may help individuals to e.g. start conversations with old community members, to go grab food with others, or to engage them in other ways then I would love to hear about it. We can provide some resources (e.g. printing or buying stuff), but we don't have the resources in the core team to fully plan such activities. Benjamin
