Here is how we handled preparing interns for the lightning talks last year and figuring out who is 
attending. You can ask the travel committee to supply the initial list of interns who are planning to

We had 3 minutes per talk with instructions on how many slides interns can have. I think this amount of 
time was sufficient and people like the dynamic nature of interns' lightning talks.
