Alright, next candidate: Andrew Bliss, Valve Corp.
Reasoning: Saw him at UDS-R and gaming on Linux is something people talk
about. Also, SteamOS ships GNOME stuff so there is a certain business
aspect to that, too.

Here's the keynote from UDS-R:

Last year Ryan Gordon and Sam Lantinga, who both work at Valve and
have a history of helping gaming on Linux (SDL, Loki software…) have
been approached last year and while they weren't able to come, to
showed interest for "next year" (so for GUADEC 2014). Rui and
Christian were the ones that contacted them. We should definitely see
if they are still willing to come.

Michael Abrash. That guy gives talks like no other. Works for Valve. And
a living legend. That guy and no one else should keynote for us, if we
intend to get Valve to acknowledge GNOME at our own annual conference.

OK, he (very) politely declined, for good reasons. Plan B?

ciao Michael
