GUADEC != GNU Hackers's Meeting

GHM != GUADEC, but the 2 events are being held so closely it makes sense to attract people to both.

Side events+ <-- why a +?
Community building++ <-- why a ++? what is meant with this? we build a
community at GUADEC?!?

"Side event+" side events and more(?)..
"Community building++" absolutely GUADEC is about building community. if you want to be a GNOME hacker behind your screen fine, you can discuss things by skype or on any internet forum. The idea of an IRL meeting is to bring people face-to-face, and thus strengthen common understanding about not just the technology but also the people.

"+
++"
I wanted to make the text a bit more visually appealing, so the +'s were a nice pattern to play with. Any designers should feel free to modify.

I like it better than the original though.

Now the text: "GUADEC is the largest get together of GNOME users,
developers, foundation leaders, individuals, governments and businesses
in the word"

This is not true.

Maybe: "GUADEC is the largest get together of GNOME users,
developers together with foundation leaders, individuals, governments and
businesses in the word"

I used this text from the sponsorship brochure. Modifications are fine but we should definitely emphasize a large scale.

But I do not understand why GNOME users is separate from individuals.

I agree. Users are individuals.

Also do not understand 'foundation leaders'. Who are they? The board or
something? That is just convenience.

Stormy Peters is a foundation leader as I understand, and will attend. I can't name any others from my head but it seems reasonable to expect a couple?
