We can handle streaming the keynotes ( as I think about 1 at the same
time ? ) We can use andy tutorial or vlc. Andy are you going to come
this year ?

Important questions for IT people is if there is any place we can put a
computer for streaming, bandwidth, monitoring ? If there is a cable
network that connect the rooms. And where are going to be the ADSL ?
There is only one building ? Is cose to the hotels ? is going to be
internet conenction in other places apart from the venue?
> Yes - let me know who (presumably you'll be here 14th - 22nd?)
Me ( Ramon Navarro ), Carles Bruguera and Gil Forcada ( he has a
reservation already at Etap )
Me and Carles can prepare the configuration for network performance,
server, streaming, ... Gil can coordinate the infraestructure.

To me the main areas that need wifi are the Foyer and main corridor down past the cloak room, bar, coffe bar and seating area (the circles with drop shadows) and the Arena Foyer. If we can also do ABH, Recital Hall and New Lecture Theatre that would be great.

I don't know how many people do you think is going to be on any place,
but 3 routers/place will be the maximum possible:
The place will have at maximum :
1--20 people --> 1 Router
20--40 people --> 2 Router
>40 people --> 3 Routers
So the maximum number of Linksys WRT54G : 9 places * 3 = 27
This is the infraestructure needed to the client connection, for the
trunk network it will depend on the cable infraestructure that the
building have.
