Yes, it's definitively something to take into account. Most of the chitchat I
had last GUADEC with random hackers happened in the parties and during the
lunchtime, when almost everyone was together in the Carpa. This wasn't the case
during dinnertime, as I, being just an undergraduate student (living in Europe
at that time exclusively thanks to an scholarship), couldn't afford to go dinner
to the fancy places many people did.
Of course, it was my responsibility not having saved enough for GUADEC, and am
not complaining of that, but am happy we had the lunch and parties to gather all
together. Please provide us of such instances next GUADEC, too! It's very important!
