Hi all,

Do we have any update on this ?
Will probably speak about that in tomorow's local vulonteers meeting in Vilanova
and I would like to know if we need to dedicate/reserve human ressources for a computer room.

Let's see.

- By now we are assuming that the most feasible option is to find
someone to lend us some computers (thick, thin or just average) to have
a cute Cafè Internet in the Entrance Hall and drop the computer room
offered by the UPC.

- Glynn started contacts in Sun Spain. Let's wait to see the results.

- Dave and others mentioned HP as another candidate. Makes sense to
contact them for this purposes if the Sun option doesn't work for some
reason.

- Do we have more computer assemblers contributing to GNOME? If
affirmative, I'd say they have a preference. For instance, what about
having 30 Nokia 770 tight to a table with 3 meter iron chains.  ;)

- If none of this options work (soon, we can't afford a big lapse of
doubt from anybody) then we can go for the local options like the one
suggested by Carlos. 

I'm confident that we will get computers at least from local providers,
and some names come already to mind.
