Although Murray's criticism is to me correct, we would need something a
bit more compelling to replace it, something that sounds more dynamic
and directed.

random ideas:

  Be GNOME's future
  Calling freedom lovers
  
  'Be part of GNOME 3.0' <- while incorrect, it is compelling...

I'm rather bad at this.
