Hi Quim,
Thanks for the quick response.

Cool. Well I would be looking at for example the Dell Dimension 3100,
with a hyperthreaded 2.8 Ghz p4, 800 MHz bus, 512 MB of ram. That's
available for 349 euros.

Oh excellent. You're wonderful :-)

Definitely my original idea.

This has the potential to be a *lot* of work, depending on the network
stability. I'm OK with doing this in those two rooms though, provided
that the network is stable. If things start disconnecting it will be me
running around fixing things, and it would be nice to enjoy the
conference a bit more those days...

Excellent!

I'll have something concrete tomorrow morning.

Cool. I'll then look at renting 2 cameras+tripods for 3 days and 1 for 5
days, and a tripod for your camera, which will be 30 euros a day plus
IVA. So about 130 * (2*3 + 5) + 5 * 40 = about 1600 euros for the week.
Will get a proper quote tomorrow.

Hm, I'll push Julien a bit then ;) It is Banco Sabadell though.
