Re: [guadec-list] Homepage structure feedback

About http://beta.guadec.org homepage:

Solved. I removed the big default login/register block, that's why. The
winning theme should have a nice tiny one.

Changed.

ok ok :) We will change this as soon as we get sponsors.

In the meantime, let's see where should we locate the other blocks:

But this clashes with the opinion of having a clean and rather static
main block... Should be change that and go for a more dynamic main block?

Also, where will we put the other blocks currently in the right column?
Maybe we could leave to the registered users the decision or having them
visible or not (currently there are other blocks you can activate
editing your profile).

I like clean homepages but I also fear we end up with a too static
homepage that doesn't show the activity behind. There is also the
possibility to have a quote static homepage for first-timers and
anonymous users and then a homepage for registered users with more
dynamic content.
