I see two different types of issues here: - Problems for the participants paying their registration through PayPal. If someone is concerned by PayPal's service we are offering them the possibility of making a bank transfer. - Problems for the GNOME Foundation for using the PayPal service to receive payments. These are the ones that need clear and detailed discussion now to decide whether we go through PayPal or not. Your suggestion of using a web payment system of a bank is good, though. First we should check if the bank(s) where the GNOME Foundation has account(s) offer this service.
