Confusion over accomodation

The longer I leave this, the sillier I feel, so I had better ask
now.

I don't understand the accomodation stuff on the Guadec website
at all. If I want somewhere in these student flats, am I supposed
to be figuring out the Norwegian-only website with the pictures on
them in order to book myself, or what? 

To make matters worse, I intended to come by ferry, which arrives
on the Saturday. Is it possible to wangle somehow somewhere to 
stay on the Saturday night? I think quite a few people were looking
at the ferry from Newcastle to travel, so I may not be the only one.
