Hi folks,
At first - many thanks for adding gettext plural support. It was what
prevented me from using gtranslator until now :o)
Unfortunately there some GUI inconveniences for plurals usage:
1. Current gtranslator handling of plurals depends on global option
in 'Preferences'. IMHO plurals handling should be rather
associated with the translation project. If so - it will allow
adding appropriate "Plural-Forms:" field to the header if
missing (accordingly to specified language in 'Preferences'. The
complete list of "Plural-Forms:" fields for different languages
can be taken from gettext project)
2. The way of editing plurals is rather not too handy (one has to
close all dialogs which popup every time when plural form is
selected) - try to browse them using keyboard :o( Maybe it would
be a solution to display each plural as a separate item in the
message list (in the left window) ? Or maybe for plurals it
would be better to apply similar message list in the right
window like the one in the left ?
3. Is it possible to mark messages (in the left window) differently
with e.g. different color or with a little icon ? It'll help to
find out all plurals easily ...
Hope above makes any sense ;o)
Again - many thanks for your work with gtranslator
Piotr
