Empty containers

Hi,

My current headache is how to empty containers like boxes, frames or
tables. Is there any tutorial or message (in this forum) that explains
it ? Is it possible to done it recursively ?

I tested to remove all children attached in Gtk::Dialog VBOX (by
get_vbox()->get_children()) and even the activity buttons have
dissapeared... Is it normal ?. I did the things wrong ??
