Icon tags on Gtk::IconView?

Hello,

I use a Gtk::IconView to display some icons. Now I like to add some
tags like in Nautilus or FSpot to an icon. For sure I need a mechanism
to store that information (e.g. in a database). But my problem is more
to draw that icon tags at the corner or above my icons. For sure I
could look into the Nautilus or FSpot source. But maybe someone knows
the solution.
