Thanks. That's very important. I am surprised that it worked at all before.
Committed.

Your patch had a rather strange format, by the way, but I managed to use it.

           Summary: Problematic packaging of 0.9.8
           Product: gnomemm
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gstreamermm
        AssignedTo: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
        ReportedBy: manphiz gmail com
         QAContact: gtkmm-forge lists sourceforge net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

Gstreamermm 0.9.8 now requires m4 and XML::Parser to do the generation of
[ch]*g -> [ch]* during building. Generally this step should be done when
preparing the release tarball so that end-user don't have to care about this
step.

------- Comment #1 from Jos? Alburquerque 2008-12-23 16:24 UTC -------
I understand. m4 is used to during the build process to generate the plug-ins.
It's a shortcut I took to automate the generation of the plug-in source files
instead of having to write them out by hand. Is this a problem for you (or
even in general)? Also, could you elaborate on XML::Parser? Thanks.

I wonder if somebody could test this bug with armin's new installers and
(possibly) close it if things work as expected.
