Yes, while the implicit cast might be allowed in C, it's not allowed from=
 C++.

The tutorial currently doesn't mark up a lot of functions and class names=
, and
when it does, it often marks them up with the docbook 'literal' tag.  Thi=
s
patch improves the semantic markup of the tutorial by adding tags where t=
hey're
missing and changing existing tags from the generic 'literal' tag to more
specific tags such as 'classname', 'function', 'parameter', etc.

I realize this is a rather nit-picky thing, and that there's not a lot of
immediate benefit gained from making these changes, but I think that it's=
 a
good thing to do, and it allows us to style some things differently if we=
 want
in the future.

I've redone almost all of the screenshots for the gtkmm tutorial using th=
e new
default GNOME clearlooks theme.  These images can just be dropped into th=
e
docs/tutorial/figures/ directory and overwrite the old screenshots.

I've done some significant work on updating the style of the gtkmm tutori=
al to
make it a little bit more pleasing to the eyes and (I think) easier to re=
ad.=20
Granted, style is something of a personal taste, but I've been pretty
conservative so I don't expect anybody will find it too ugly.

I investigated using the GNOME XSL stylesheets for doing the transformati=
on so
that we could take advantage of the existing GNOME style.  There wasn't a=
 very
good way to use the existing stylesheets to generate standalone html, so =
I
stayed with the official docbook stylesheets and simply tweaked things a =
bit
with XSL parameters and CSS stylesheets.  The CSS stylesheet is based mos=
tly
off the styles currently used in yelp, so it's pretty close to the standa=
rd
GNOME style.  It's tweaked a bit to make it fit in with the gtkmm website=
 as
well.

Try it out and let me know what you think. =20
