Actually...you could get prebuilt versions of gtkmm
from a link on the gtkmm website. If it doesn't detect
a GTK+ installation on your system, it will prompt you
if you want to let it download the appropriate version
of GTK+ to install. This pretty much means that the
gtkmm installer is all that's necessary.
If you can't or won't use the installer, is it that
you have special requirements? or is it that they
don't work for you?
