Thinking some more, kind of contrary to what I was just saying:

You might be able to insert the macro automatically after the "class"
keyword, by making a change here:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/glibmm/tools/pm/WrapParser.pm?view=markup
in on_class().

That shouldn't need a lot of perl experience. But if you can't do that
then, _do_ leave that to me. In the meantime, you could add the macro to
the non-generated .h/.cc source files, and send a patch.

The non-generated .h/.cc files are those .h/.cc files that exist in a
clean cvs checkout and which do not have a "do not change this" warning at
the top.
