So after finishing my install of Severn, and fighting through a few
lock-ups :(, I managed to build rpms of libsigc++ and gtkmm (2.2.5)
without any trouble using the spec.in that's already there. The machine
froze again before I could check the differences reported in 
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109828

but I intend to do that soon if I have time. I will also try to build
gnomemm.
