Hello Jean,
I confirm the same behaviour for similar code, I already posted a mail
in this mailing list about that point a few months ago, it is linked to
X11 not to gtkglext and I made a bugzilla report in X11.
In the past the bug caused a memory leak in X11 the size of X server was
increasing but after let's say Fedora 7 time it began to cause crashes.
