Well, I have never played with XS, and unfortunately I have no time
to learn it soon enough to see this fixed in time for the Debian
Wheezy freeze :/

XS is basically just C code, if that helps. If not, you can alwayssimply use the normal GtkAboutDialog API manually:<http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkAboutDialog.html>.
