Question about Gtk2::FileChooser

Hi.
I'm using in my project Gtk2::FileChooser and I don't see "Network" icon
to access samba shares.
Is it possible to access samba shares though Gtk2::FileChooser ?
According to this bug this is since 2007 in gtk+
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452238
It would be nice to mount remote shares with this dialog.
