you're not meant to change the style programmatically, in gtk+. usually
you feed a new style string and then attach the resulting style to a
widget.
Oh, well, the style string was where I got to, then wondered if I was
consuming every more memory doing that. (Not that it matters for a
sample program, but still, don't want to show bad style in an example
... :-)
