Question about Gnome2 canvas, text and editing

Do I understand this correctly: Gnome2::Canvas::Text can only display
text, there is no way of modifying it, and Gnome2::Canvas::RichText
gives text that can be modified, but it is not implemented for
antialiased Canvases?
