Hi everybody,
The application I'm writing is only used on MS Windows. Therefore
there's the desire to give it a MS Windows look. Is it possible to get
the filechooser in the typical Windows style (and not the standard
gnome style)?
There was a debate on this in the gtk mailing list recently ( subject
was 'Usability of the GTK+ 2 file open dialog' ). I was arguing against
your side :) The suggestion was to override the gtk2 file open dialogs
with native ones on Windows. Personally I would prefer that the gtk2
dialog be 'fixed' to the extent that it offers all the functionality
that people are after, and then a Win32 theme created so that it looks
the part as well. But anyway, feel free to rock up and add your thoughts
to the thread.
